Keys of Healing
Repentance, forgiveness, & love.
When correction and healing are needed, forgiveness and repentance are usually called for because something went wrong that needs to be corrected.
Repentance:
Repentance is the first step in turning away from the curse and it's effects and receiving healing. We sin when we deviate from God’s will for our lives and that causes us to get hurt or wounded. Wounds can be in the body, soul or spirit.
-
There are sins of commission & omission (neglecting to do the right things that we ere supposed to do), known sins and unknown but we have to repent for them all. Repent for coming into agreement with the enemy and his works.
Sins can be committed individually and communally, we have to repent for both
Repent for any unforgiveness, idolatry, pride, lying, dishonoring God, mistreating God's people and self harm.
Sins of the Forefathers:
- Repent for atrocities, ungodly covenants, and ungodly vows, and other sins that were committed by my forefathers.
I break all vows of unforgiveness made by me and my ancestors.
I break all the souls ties that have been operating in my like through unforgiveness
Transgenerational Wounds are wounds that cross the generation lines.
Wounds can be physical, emotional, wounds of the mind, or wounds of the spirit, no matter where they occur, God wants us healed of them.
-
Scriptures:
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.Deuteronomy 5:9 - "You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me"
Forgiveness:
Forgiveness is making a deliberate choice to release the record of wrongdoing that you have against someone no matter what they did.
God will only forgive our sins when we also forgive others who've sinned against us.
If we aren't willing to forgive them, He isn't willing to forgive us.
The Bible says that when we forgive others, their sins are forgiven.
-
The enemy tries deceiving us by making us believe that unforgiveness gives us power. Unforgiveness doesn't forgiveness doesn't give us power and it in fact wounds us. it's like a cancer, it's something we are carrying around that doesn't belong in our God-given makeup. It sucks the life, joy, and peace out of us and it fosters a cespools for other disorders.
For our own health and wellbeing, we have to choose to dump the files of charges of wrongdoing out of our lives. They aren't helping us, they don't make us more righteous, they can only cripple our health.
-
John 20:23 - "If you forgive anyone's sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."
Ephesians 4:32 - “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
Matthew 6:14 - “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
Love:
God is love.
It's the love of God that heals and gives life.
Love is intentional, it doesn't just accidentally happen. You have to choose to be an agent of God's tangible love.
you are not too hurt to love.
-
Receive His word about Himself and who is He says you are. You are more than just a creature, you are His beloved child and he loves you.
Be a disciple of God's love and sit under the teaching of God's love.
The strongest person is God and the Bible says, He doesn't just love, He is love.
How can I minister God who is love, without the willingness to receive His love in my life? The answer is, I cannot. In order to give love, I have to be willing to receive love which usually requiring learning how to even receive it.
If you reject love, you open the door for the opposite.
Rejecting love is also a deception strategy of the enemy.
Strong people choose to love because they value it's healing and building power, they aren't afraid to love.

1 John 4:7-12 - "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us."
Isaiah 43:4 - "Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life."
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

Minister Love is the willingness to becoming healthy and learning to relate to others in a healthy, godly way:
Giving Forgiveness is love and it starts with self;
Giving grace is love;
Ministering love is acknowledging someone’s personhood. A person should be acknowledged, respected, and loved because they are precious and valuable to God. They’re the image and likeness of God and are made to host God Almighty (the creator and possessor of the heavens & the earth);
Blessing one another everyday as to spouses, family and community is not weird or too radical, it’s ministering love and we were created for it;
Sometimes learning to just listen and allowing someone to be heard can be a ministry of love;
Supporting someone is prayer;
Speaking the truth in love.
